Providing CPR can be exhausting, as you grow tired, you will become less effective. Whenever possible, it is best to share the work with another rescuer. It is not important if the other person is CPR trained because you can tell him what to do. The rescuer tells and shows the other person (the second rescuer) what to do while they do the chest compressions and then while the rescuer does the breaths, the second rescuer prepares and is ready to start compressions as soon as the rescuer has completed the two breaths.

It is a good idea to try to swap over every two minutes. If you become tired and no one is able to help you, consider just doing chest compressions to have a rest from the breaths.
